Facebook page #2

The previous has something to do with the tower. The Facebook page's owner, using the NT logo (so it could look like it's an official NT communication) posted:
One option being considered at the Monday board mtg is to install a 100ft "flag pole" at the Club that would double as a cell tower. One of the pros on this plan is restrooms could be incorporated at the base where the equipment is and we could get rid of the port-o-cans by the baseball field once and for all. I think it should be a Texas flag. What do you think?
I think the restrooms can be built without the cell tower. Or vice versa. They are two completely different issues. Does this make any sense? Am I missing something?

  1. I am new to the issue, having just found out about this on Saturday. I agree with the residents who signed the petition. I just wrote an email to the Board, Ex. Director, my neighborhood rep and the Community Relations staff member. I wanted to get a copy of it to the Blog, and to the other folks working to organize this effort, but cannot find any contact information (email addresses or phone numbers).

I will be at the board meeting tonight 3/15/10) and will do what I can to help.

We are in Wilkins Crossing and just put a contract on a house in Stone Creek. I can tell you this definitely impacts property values - we are considering walking away from our deposit, and the neighborhood, because of this.

  3. Paul,

I want to thank you for all of your hard work and effort in helping the NT residents to get this tower idea voted down. You have done a great job with your comments and research, and I personally really appreciate it. I hope our
Board heard us loud and clear...that this is OUR neighborhood and we want it to remain beautiful and tower free.

    Thanks again!
